LONGware Channel Piton
We have two of these LONGware channel style pitons in our collection. This example appears to be in great condition with no rust and only light hammer marks present.

Look similar to Peck Pitons
They look a bit similar but the channel is much deeper and U shaped whereas the Peck pitons were shallower and more of a C shape.
The LONGware pitons aren’t as springy as the Peck design. The shallow SMC pitons are even
shallower with a very springy ( shape.
