This pulley comes to our collection from Marty Karabin. It has passed through many hands in its journey to our archives. It was “appropriated” from original owner Jim Bridwells haul bags at the base of El Cap and ended up with Jay Fisk. It was then sold to Eric Kohl at a garage sale before Marty acquired it and passed it to Vertical Archaeology in exchange for some much-loved Dolt equipment.
Amazing how some pieces are a common thread for so many people and so much history.
