The complete 1930 Sporthaus Jungborn equipment catalog. Every page is included here in the interest of historical completeness and accuracy. The section concerning alpinists is on pages 42,43,44, and 45 but many other accessories of use to climbers and mountain travelers are represented throughout the catalog.
Although the text is in German, this catalog is a unique look at the state-of-the-art equipment available in 1930. Prior to world war two, most alpine equipment in the United States was imported from European sources. The selection was limited, but adequate for most climbers needs at the time.
